About Coda

Coda are a 5-piece live dubstep band from London, and have been producing music together since September 2009, after the members met at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

In the short time they’ve been together, Coda have consistently pushed their own boundaries, raising the bar with each new production. Their sets fuse together the raw energy of a traditional band performance with the flow, excitement and hype of a DJ set.

Coda have already amassed a substantial fan following and generated significant interest in their sound from promoters and labels across the country. With their gigging schedule filling up, releases on the horizon, and a constant flow of new material, their future certainly looks promising.

The Breach

The Breach marks Coda's first foray into the world of music. The four track EP provides an insight into the band's bass-heavy style and energetic live shows.

Since their formation in early 2010, the five-piece live dubstep outfit have poured blood, sweat and tears into crafting their eponymous debut release.

Coda were keen to release a cross-section of their live show, and as such The Breach includes four original bassweight selections; the two-step swing of 'Pablo', the cinematic 'Taiko', as well as 'Blood Pressure' and 'Get Up'.

Producer Noj explains the ethos behind the release:

"We started putting together tracks for the EP around mid-2010, however we are all such perfectionists, and this is why it has taken so long to release.

It's our first release so we wanted it to make a big statement...the tracks themselves vary between deep, moody bass scores, to the in-your-face, tear-out stuff."
